The Chairman and CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Dr Abike Dabiri joined other Nigerians in Austria on Sunday to celebrate the 2024 edition of Adire International Carnival.
The event was hosted by the Egbe Omo Oduduwa Austria .
The event had participants dressed in various coloured adire materials and gathered beside the Nigerian Embassy waving Nigerian and Austria flags.
The parade started with a fanfare led by drummers and other musicians who thrilled participants with African tunes.
Other Nigerians from communities like Salzburg, Graz, Karten and Linz were present, including visitors from Ireland, UK, USA, Brazil, Paraguay, Bangladesh and Macedonia.
The carnival paraded through Rennweg Street, Schwarzenberg Square and the Vienna Ring Road in the city centre of Vienna and terminated at Hoffburg in front of the Welt Museum Vienna near the office of the Austrian President.
