Nigerian-Canadian artiste, Joey Jaey, has continued to fulfil his promise of releasing a new song every last Friday of the month.
The newest tune entitled, ‘Odogwu,’ made it Joey Jaey’s fourth single of the year.
“The song, ‘Odogwu’ is a masterpiece that captivates from the first note. Drawing inspiration from Afrobeats and infused with synthetic Amapiano elements, Joey Jaey’s smooth vocals glide effortlessly over the chill yet expressive soundscape, delivering a performance that is both passionate and captivating,” a statement from his management reads.

First, there is that cultural aspect which is the prominent use of Joey’s native Nigerian ‘Igbo’ language that has been integrated with modern contemporary flair, making it familiar for so many audiences back in Nigeria and intriguing for many more across Africa and abroad.
