Kelechi Ndukwe, a Nigerian man, has been promoted from the rank of Commander to Captain in the United States Navy.
The news was shared by Victor Agunbiade, a fellow US Naval Officer, who took to X to extend his congratulations to Ndukwe on this significant accomplishment.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, meet the newest US Navy Captain Kelechi Ndukwe. The first Nigerian to have a command of US Navy War Ship! Congratulations on your promotion Captain! Well deserved!!!,” he wrote
