Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), has urged Nigerians abroad to actively engage in the country’s reform efforts by supporting the ‘Nigeria First Policy’ introduced by President Bola Tinubu.
In a recent video message, Dabiri-Erewa emphasized that the policy prioritizes Nigeria-centric issues, promotes the use of locally made products, and encourages home-grown solutions for government procurement.
She noted that the initiative, which aims to advance sustainable development, is crucial at this juncture and calls for the collaborative efforts of both Nigerians at home and abroad.
Dabiri-Erewa encouraged diaspora Nigerians to contribute their expertise, knowledge, and talents to the nation’s growth, highlighting that this is an ideal moment to get involved and make a tangible impact.
“The Nigeria First Policy offers a unique opportunity for you to bring your skills back home. NiDCOM is fully committed to partnering with you, especially in areas aligned with this new policy,” she added.
