Dr. Charles Diji Akinola is a distinguished scholar, public policy strategist, and development expert.
He holds a PhD in Agricultural Extension from the University of Ibadan and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
He has also attended courses at the University of Cambridge, Cranfield University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston, USA.
Akinola has consulted extensively across the public, private, and development sectors for governments, including the World Bank, USAID, the UK Department for International Development, Ford Foundation, Shell International, Chevron Corporation, Exxon Mobil, and West African Gas Pipeline Company.
A former lecturer at the University of Ibadan and Nigeria Country Director of TechnoServe, Akinola was previously SSA to the President on Marine & Blue Economy.
