UK-based Singer, Homebased drops new album ‘Con4mity’

Nigerian-British artist Homebased has unveiled his latest album, Con4mity, which was officially released on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

Describing the project, Homebased highlighted its fusion of Afrobeats and Amapiano, showcasing his versatility while staying true to his artistic identity.

“The album is a deliberate step into mainstream Afro-fusion, demonstrating my ability to evolve while maintaining authenticity,” he stated.

He further explained that the album blends energetic, upbeat tracks with smooth, rhythmic sounds, reflecting his Yoruba heritage and diverse musical influences. Drawing inspiration from artists like Asake and Seyi Vibez, he experimented with new vocal textures, relied more on freestyling, and minimized autotune to maintain a raw and organic sound.

“This project is about pushing my creative boundaries while staying in tune with what the audience loves. There’s a strong Yoruba presence throughout the album—it’s my way of staying connected to my roots while offering listeners something fresh,” he added.

Homebased also revealed that music videos for select tracks, including Outside – Italawa, Jogodo, and Ya Photo, are in the works and will be released soon.
