Renowned young Nigerian artist and autism advocate, Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke, is set to unveil the world’s largest art canvas created by an individual.
The historic event will take place on Wednesday at Eagle Square, Abuja, where he will also receive an official Guinness World Records certificate in recognition of his extraordinary feat.
Kanyeyachukwu’s achievement is not just a testament to his artistic brilliance but also a celebration of creativity, perseverance, and inclusion.
As a passionate advocate for individuals with autism, his work continues to inspire people worldwide.
This landmark unveiling is made possible through the support of key organizations, including the Society of Nigerian Artists, The Zeebah Foundation, the Federal Ministries of Education and Health, and corporate sponsors such as MTN and GTCO.
The event will be attended by prominent dignitaries, including Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), who will serve as the Chief Host; Mariya Mahmoud, Minister of State for FCT, as Co-host; and Hannatu Musawa, Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy, as the Special Guest of Honour.
Kanyeyachukwu’s artistic journey began at the age of two when he started drawing abstract forms on paper and walls at his family home in Abuja.
Over the years, he has gained international recognition, including hosting a solo art exhibition in Dubai titled FAT—an acronym for Fabulous, Autistic, and Talented.
His father has emphasized that the family’s commitment to showcasing Kanye’s art goes beyond celebrating his talent.
It is also part of a broader mission to raise awareness about autism and advocate for better support for children living with the condition.
Kanyeyachukwu is known for his vibrant, expressive artwork that reflects his unique perspective on life. His latest record-breaking achievement stands as a powerful affirmation of his belief that “Impossibility is a Myth.”
