Galatasaray eyes permanent move for Osimhen with record-breaking offer

Victor Osimhen’s stay in Istanbul might be extended beyond expectations, as Galatasaray are reportedly looking to secure the Nigerian striker on a permanent basis with what could become the most expensive transfer in the club’s history.

After a potential move to Chelsea fell through, Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli. Since then, the prolific forward has made an immediate impact, scoring 28 goals in 32 appearances and playing a key role in the club’s ongoing title defense.

Encouraged by his performance, Galatasaray’s leadership is eager to make a move. Reports from Spain’s AS and Turkey’s Cumhuriyet indicate that the club is preparing a €70 million offer to Napoli for the striker.

In addition, they are set to offer Osimhen a three-year contract worth €15 million per season, excluding performance-related bonuses.

However, Galatasaray faces stiff competition for the 25-year-old’s signature, with top-tier clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea all reportedly interested in the striker. Meanwhile, offers from the Middle East could further complicate the situation.
