After spending four years in the United Kingdom, a Nigerian woman, Gbemisola Onigbode, has relocated to Canada to start a new chapter of her life.
Gbemisola, who is a mother, shared her journey on TikTok through her account @gbemisola.onigbode.
In the video, she explained that her decision to leave the UK was driven by the desire to reunite with her husband, after being separated for almost a year due to unforeseen circumstances.
Reflecting on her move, Gbemisola expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to be together again as a family.
“You packed your bags after living in the United Kingdom for 4 years and started all over again. I’m still in awe of God’s faithfulness,” she shared.
She went on to describe the joy of their reunion, saying:
“I get to live with my husband again after staying apart for almost a year, solo parenting. Our joy knew no bounds reuniting as a family of three. I will surely tell this story. The best thing I heard yesterday was, ‘Welcome to Canada.’”
