Nigerian businessman who died during the penalty shoot-out between Nigeria and South Africa for burial

Chief Angus Osondu, the Côte d’ Ivoire base Nigeria billionaire who collapsed and died during the penalty shoot-out between Nigeria and South Africa, will be buried on Saturday 6th April, in his hometown Amanuike community, Awka Anambra state.

Osondu collapsed inside the stadium after the Super Eagles’ second goal was cancelled by the referee.

All efforts to rescue him were proved abortive and later pronounced dead by the hospital.

Osondu was the fourth Nigerians to have died from the shock and tension they felt while watching the football match.
