Guinness World Record: Nigerians cheer Onakoya on mission to set new Guinness World Records

Nigerians living in United States have come out to support renowned chess master, Tunde Onakoya, as he embarks on a mission to surpass the Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon.

Onakoya, who began chess marathon on Wednesday with an aim to reach his remarkable 58-hours non-stop chess marathon had attracted Nigerians from far and wide at the Times Square, New York, venue of the event in America.

Nigerian singer, Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold was among Nigerians who have visited the venue of the chess marathon to cheer up Onakoya

As at Wednesday night, Onakoya has beaten many chess players  including one of New York’s Chess Master Shawn Martinez.
