BREAKING: Super Eagles set to leave Libya after airport delay

The Super Eagles players and officials are finally set to depart Libya after enduring over 14 hours of harsh treatment from the host country on Sunday.

This information was shared by a sports enthusiast known as Pooja Media via his X account on Monday. He posted, “Super Eagles players and officials are now boarding to fly out of Libya to Nigeria. Thank God.”

One of the team members, Bruno Onyemaechi, also confirmed the development, saying, “Me and Libya, I’m done. I have no business with them anymore. Thank God I’m going back.”

Prior to this, Libyan authorities were accused of denying the Super Eagles’ chartered flight, Value Jet, the necessary clearance and aviation fuel to return the team to Nigeria.
