Birmingham City boast one of England’s top academies, having produced a host of top talents through its ranks, with notable names like Jude Bellingham who is currently plying his trade at Spanish club, Real Madrid, being just one out of the plethora of football talents emerging from the club.
But one name in the Club’s current youth formation that has caught the attention of elite clubs within and outside of England is U16 forward, Tobechukwu Ugorji, whose performance in the Championship club’s academy has been lauded as both impressive and promising.
Ugorji, the Birmingham starlet has directly participated in 41 goals (26 goals, 15 assists) in 28 games all-competition appearances so far in the 2023-2024 campaign, making him one of the most prolific and creative forwards at his level.
He has been with the Blues since 2016 and has gone on to establish himself as one of the best products in the club’s youth ranks.
The Anglo-Nigerian talent qualifies to represent the Golden Eaglets through his Nigerian father and he’s also eligible to wear the colours of England.
