Nigerian-born, US-based singer-songwriter Emem Olaosun is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated debut EP titled Love & Gratitude, scheduled for launch on November 22, 2024.
Known for her captivating blend of R&B, Afro Pop, traditional, and motivational gospel music, Emem has been making waves globally, following the success of her praise and worship hits “I Believe” and “Amanam.”
The visuals for both tracks have been met with widespread acclaim, showcasing Emem’s artistic flair and powerful storytelling. Directed by Jonathan Melgas, the videos feature vibrant scenes that complement the inspiring messages of the songs. “I Believe” is a song of hope, delivering a compelling narrative that motivates listeners, while “Amanam,” meaning “You have done well” in Ibibio, Emem’s native language, celebrates gratitude with energetic and joyful visuals.
Emem’s upcoming EP, Love & Gratitude, features a unique blend of West and Central African influences, blending soulful melodies with Afrocentric jazz rhythms and grooves that appeal to a global audience. The live recording project promises to deliver a collection of spirit-lifting praise and worship tracks that showcase Emem’s versatility and talent.
The EP will be available on all major music platforms starting November 22, courtesy of Emem Music. The collection of songs embodies themes of love, hope, faith, and appreciation, with an emphasis on motivation and belief in God.
