Nigeria’s Kewa Oni’s “The Odds” set to screen at American Black Film Festival 2024

Kewa Oni’s “The Odds”  is officially selected to screen at the 2024 edition of the American Black Film Festival.

The film is about a young man stumbles into good fortune but it attracts the wrong attention.

Produced by Seun Opabisi, Sean McNichol, Phiona Okunmu and Tunji Jamiu Shoyode, The Odds is a drama featuring the director,  Kewa Oni , Molawa Davies, Osita Iheme, Gbemi Akinlade, Kelechi Udegbe.

This year’s festival takes place June 12-16 in Miami Beach, Fla., followed by a virtual segment June 17-24 on ABFF PLAY.

Winners of film festival competition will be announced on June 15, during the “Best of ABFF Awards” hosted by Emmy-nominee Dondré Whitfield.
