Sholademi, a key member of Nigeria’s national archery team, has consistently showcased his talent on the international stage.

Over the past year, he has amassed over 14 medals in various competitions across the United States and beyond, proudly representing Nigeria.

This latest triumph marks his second consecutive first-place finish at the Indoor Nationals in Fiskdale.

He was part of the Nigerian team that secured silver medals at the African Continental Archery Championships in 2022 in South Africa and in 2023 in Tunisia—Nigeria’s first-ever continental archery medals.

Currently ranked 7th in Africa in the compound bow category, Sholademi holds the title of Nigeria’s most decorated archer across all bow divisions.

He is also ranked second in the state of Massachusetts, USA. His growing reputation in the sport earned him a spot on the Ramrods Developmental Team, making him the first Nigerian archer to sign with a renowned archery equipment manufacturer.

Beyond his personal achievements, Sholademi has been instrumental in developing archery in Nigeria.

Through his involvement with ARCH Archery Club Abuja, he has played a crucial role in promoting the sport and inspiring a new generation of archers.

His latest victory in the USA reinforces his dedication to excellence and further highlights Nigeria’s growing presence in the international archery scene.

His story stands as a testament to the power of perseverance, skill, and commitment in achieving sporting success.
