With 11.59 score, Nigerian passport has retained its position as the 10th worst travel document worldwide
According to VisaGuide World latest report for June, the Nigerian passport ranked 191 out of 199 countries surveyed in the report
Nigeria only emerged above countries like North Korea (192), Iraq (193), Libya (194), Sudan (195), Pakistan (196), Afghanistan (197), Syria (198) and Somalia (199).
The Singaporean passport is the strongest passport in the world, with a score of 91.15 as of June 2024.
It is followed by the Italian, Spanish, French, and Hungarian passports respectively, to complete the top-five list of strongest passports for 2024.
Singapore passport holders can enter a total of 168 countries without visa requirements, making it the only document to grant entry without hassles to this many countries.
More specifically, 159 countries allow entry for Singapore citizens without visa requirements while another nine require an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Russia, India and Nigeria along with another nine countries issue eVisas for Singapore citizens.
The list of the top 20 most powerful passports also includes the Japanese passport, which ranks 13th internationally and second in Asia.
Between April and June, the Nigerian passport has maintained its position as the 10th worst travel document worldwide.
