The Naira strengthened in the parallel market on Thursday, rising to N1,560 per dollar from N1,570 recorded the previous day.
However, it weakened slightly in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), trading at N1,540 per dollar compared to N1,539 on Wednesday.
According to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the official exchange rate saw a marginal depreciation of N1, reflecting continued fluctuations in the forex market.
As a result, the gap between the parallel market rate and the NFEM rate narrowed to N20 per dollar, down from N31 recorded on Wednesday.
