Vu Ngoc, a 33-year-old Vietnamese lady, has described her husband, Cosmas, a Nigerian man, as an epitome of protection and care, adding that he is the right person for her and she feels lucky to have met him.
Ngoc and Cosmas met during the 2021 Covid-19 induced lockdown, through a dating app, where she found Cosmas, 35, a Nigerian businessman, whom she described as one with a gentle appearance, and they started messaging each other shortly afterwards.
“He was more polite than other guys, not rushing and very calm,” she says. “His gentleness and care helped me get through the pandemic crisis”, Ngoc said.
While further describing Cosmas, who came to Vietnam four years before their meeting, Ngoc said the point where she decided to take her relationship with Cosmas seriously was when he proved himself a reliable source of support at a time when she had a medical emergency and Cosmas provided constant reassurance and also paid her medical bills.
The couple got married in 2022 with a simple and intimate ceremony. His family could not come to Vietnam due to flight restrictions amid the pandemic.
Ngoc, the youngest in her family and thoroughly pampered, who admitted she has a hot temper, also appreciated Cosmas’s patience, saying that his attitude and disposition has put her temper in check.
“I think my husband has done so much for me. why can’t I change to make us both better? I have learned his patience.”
“I feel lucky to have met the right person,” Ngoc said.
