Oladipo Ogundipe, the father of Alanis Ogundipe, has voiced his dissatisfaction with the investigation into his daughter’s death, which took place a year ago in the United Kingdom.
He suspects that her death involved more than just suicide and has accused her boyfriend, Ryan, of blackmail and emotional abuse.
Oladipo claims that Ryan infected Alanis with herpes, a condition she perceived as a stigma and kept hidden.
“Ryan used this information to blackmail her, broke into her phone, and stole sensitive information,” he alleged.
Oladipo asserts that Ryan’s conduct has caused Alanis to suffer from depression and trauma. Additionally, he claims that Ryan provided false information to the police in his statement and criticizes the handling of the investigation.
Furthermore, Oladipo is urging UK authorities to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into his daughter’s passing and is seeking support from the Nigerian High Commission in the UK.
