Arsenal star Saka scores for young Nigerians, funds life-changing surgeries in Kano

Nigerian-born British football player, Bukayo Saka, has touched the lives of 120 children in Kano State, Nigeria, by funding critical surgeries that have restored their health and mobility.

The Arsenal star has teamed up to fund surgeries for 120 children in Kano State, Nigeria. A 12-year-old is now walking, thanks to the support from the player.

Arsenal sensation Bukayo Saka has expressed delight in having assisted a 12-year-old Nigerian boy to walk again.

Based in Kano State in Northern Nigeria, Kabiru, who could barely walk a year ago, has recovered from his ailment.

The young aspiring footballer has undergone a successful surgery and has returned to the football field to join his friends.

Saka, who was born in London to Nigerian parents, teamed up with a charity organisation, BigShoe, to help children in Kano.

It was gathered that the England International partnered with the organisation to pay for surgeries of 120 kids suffering from brain tumours, umbilical hernias, and inguinal hernias.

Delighted with Saka’s gesture, the medical doctor, Musa Ibrahim, thanked the player for his generosity.
