Nigerian airline Air Peace is taking flight to Europe! The carrier is launching daily flights from Lagos to London Gatwick, starting March 30th, 2024. Passengers can expect a comfortable journey on Boeing 777 or 787 Dreamliners.
To ensure smooth operations, Air Peace has partnered with Norse Atlantic Airways, leveraging their expertise in charter operations. “This collaboration strengthens our position to exceed customer expectations as we enter the European market,” says Air Peace chairman and CEO, Allen Onyema. Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO of Norse Atlantic Airways, echoes the sentiment, stating, “This is an exciting opportunity to deliver reliable service to Air Peace and its customers.”
This expansion marks a significant milestone for Air Peace, established in 2014. Their fleet of over 30 aircraft operates nearly 40 routes, including regional and international destinations like Dubai, Guangzhou, Tel Aviv, Johannesburg, and Mumbai.
Air Peace also announced special fares for students studying in the UK. Recognizing the challenges of high travel costs, Dr. Onyema unveiled the plan during a meeting with travel agents. “These fares will allow families to maintain closer relationships and encourage students to return home more regularly,” he said.
This initiative addresses a long-standing challenge for Nigerian families and marks a significant development in affordable air travel between the two countries.
