Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, hosted Nigerian-British boxing champion Anthony Joshua and his family in Lagos on Saturday.
Joshua, a two-time world heavyweight champion, visited Dabiri-Erewa at her residence, accompanied by his family.
Sharing a video from the visit, Dabiri-Erewa expressed her admiration for Joshua, writing: “Hosting the champ himself, and members of his family, Anthony Oluwafemi Joshua. A man of unparalleled humility, strength, grace, and character. A champ indeed! A champ forever 🙏🏿 #ProudlyNigerian.”
Earlier in the week, Joshua had paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Tinubu at his Lagos residence, where he presented the president with an autographed boxing glove bearing the inscription: “To the Great Asiwaju Jagaban Borgu of Africa, Bola A. Tinubu.”
