Three passengers arrested for disrupting Air Peace London-Lagos flight

Three passengers, Adedigba Adewale, Ashibogu Magnus, and Iwonze Benjamin, were arrested at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Wednesday for causing a disturbance aboard an Air Peace flight from London to Lagos.

The incident began when Adewale and Magnus, who had economy class tickets, attempted to occupy business class seats. When the cabin crew intervened, they refused to comply and forcefully entered the section. Their disruptive behavior escalated as they made threats and consumed alcohol they had brought on board without permission, creating panic among other passengers.

The flight crew promptly alerted Nigerian security agencies, and upon landing, law enforcement officers arrested the trio for further investigation.

Air Peace reaffirmed its commitment to passenger safety and warned against unruly conduct on its flights. The airline also commended its crew for handling the situation professionally.

Attempts to reach the Director of Aviation Security, Igbafe Afegbai, for comments were unsuccessful.
