Nigerian-American group appoints new leadership

The Nigerian American Public Affairs Committee (NAPAC-USA) has announced the appointment of a new leadership team, effective January 1, 2025.

In a statement released on Thursday, the group outlined that the new leadership is tasked with promoting African culture within the diaspora. The incoming team is committed to strengthening the organization’s structure, advancing civic awareness, and advocating for policies that support education, health, and community development, ensuring greater representation at all levels of government.

“The new executive team consists of experienced advocates dedicated to advancing the Nigerian-American community. Their efforts will focus on fostering unity, empowerment, and progress,” the statement said.

The group emphasized its goals to enhance advocacy, increase civic participation, encourage collaboration, and celebrate Nigerian heritage. NAPAC-USA will actively work to elevate Nigerian culture, identity, and pride within the diaspora.

“We are excited about the opportunities ahead and encourage everyone to join us in shaping a brighter future,” said Prince Maduka Nkuku, President of NAPAC-USA. “Through collaboration and community, we strive to create lasting change while celebrating the rich heritage of Nigeria.”
