Emirates Airlines is enticing Nigerian travelers with a complimentary 48-hour or 96-hour United Arab Emirates (UAE) visa for those transiting through Dubai this November.
This promotion aims to encourage Nigerians to explore Dubai during layovers.
According to details gathered by Vanguard, the complimentary visa will be valid for 30 days from the issuance date.
To qualify, travelers must purchase their tickets between November 1 and November 3, 2024. Visa applications are open from November 1, 2024, until February 1, 2025, and journeys must be completed by February 28, 2025.
Additional terms specify that the journey must begin from Lagos on flight EK784. The visa offer applies to both 96-hour and 48-hour transit visas, meeting the usual eligibility requirements.
It is available to all nationalities departing from Nigeria and is applicable for Dubai-bound and onward travelers. Visas, however, remain subject to UAE Immigration approval.
This offer follows Emirates’ recent resumption of flights to Nigeria on October 3, 2024, after a two-year hiatus due to issues like trapped funds.
The inaugural return flight, EK 783, landed at Lagos’s Murtala Muhammed International Airport at 3:32 p.m.
