A Nigerian media doctor based in Canada, simply identified as Doctor Zo, has recently praised activist VeryDarkMan and his NGO initiative in a viral video circulating online.
On October 17, 2024, VeryDarkMan expressed his immense gratitude after music producer Don Jazzy made a generous donation of N100 million to his NGO. VeryDarkMan was visibly surprised by the unexpected support from Don Jazzy.
In response to this development, the Canada-based medical practitioner voiced his strong support for VeryDarkMan, stating that he and other Nigerians in the Diaspora are proud of his efforts and the positive impact of his NGO.
The media doctor further explained that individuals like VeryDarkMan are key examples of those who can help improve Nigeria, adding that movements like his make it possible for Nigerians abroad to consider returning home to retire someday.
He also offered prayers for both Don Jazzy and VeryDarkMan, acknowledging that the activist may face opposition from various people, including friends and family, but encouraged him to remain steadfast, as these challenges are often faced by Nigerians trying to create change.
However, the doctor emphasized that, while he doesn’t personally know VeryDarkMan, he and other Nigerians abroad are deeply proud of his work in Nigeria.
He stated, “VeryDarkMan, we Nigerians in the Diaspora worldwide are cheering you on. You represent one of the few hopes that someday, we can come back to Nigeria and retire.”
