Nigeria’s Wahid Enitan Oshodi has been elected as the new president of the African Table Tennis Federation (ATTF), following a vote on Tuesday.
Oshodi’s election took place during the 2024 ATTF annual general meeting at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
He is only the second Nigerian to hold this prestigious role, succeeding Engr. Segun George, a former ATTF president.
Oshodi, who previously served as the Executive Vice President of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and Deputy President of ATTF, has a long-standing involvement in the sport.
He also chaired the Lagos State Table Tennis Association and was appointed Sports Commissioner for Lagos State in 2011 under Governor Babatunde Fashola’s administration.
