Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), is mourning the loss of his 25-year-old daughter, Fatima, who passed away recently.
Details surrounding her death are still limited, though it was reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that Fatima passed away on Friday.
Vice-President Kashim Shettima has offered his heartfelt condolences to Kyari and his family, praying for divine strength and comfort in this time of sorrow. Shettima also prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased.
According to NAN, Shettima led a gathering of mourners in a funeral prayer at Abuja’s Annur Mosque.
