The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face their stiff rivals, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan, where both teams first clashed in AFCON four decades ago.
It will be the eighth time both Nigeria and Cameroon will be meeting in the history of the competition.
The Super Eagles qualified for the round 16 of the tournament after beating Guinea Bissau 1-0 to finish. second in Group A.
The Indomitable Lions finished second in Group C with four points and a superior goal difference over Guinea who were defeated 2-0 by Senegal in group’s other game.
